Your Mental Health Matters; Let’s Break The Silence

Recently, I spoke with a friend and was worried when she raised concerns regarding her mental health. Our mental health should be made a priority no matter the situation at hand.

It is important that we understand that issues pertaining to one’s mental health shouldn’t be taken slightly. Of utmost important is when people begin to feel suicidal and can’t see the essence of their life snd began to regret the things that really matters to them.

At times, self blame is all they can see. This is the point when They are most venerable and need help. Some family members or close friends can help no matter how they resent you initially or even blame you to be part of the problem. Do seek help.

Let’s takeĀ  the ongoing royal news of Meghan and Harry’s interview with Oprah’s for example. There were mention of concerning topics ranging from racism to mental health issues; where a person got to the point of not wanting to be alive any more. I am shocked to see how many comments that still criticises that very aspect. Like, it can’t be made up people. My writing isn’t to discuss the royals saga with you but to highlight certain issues.

No one should be ignored or pushed aside when their mental health is at stake regardless of their social status.

You might be surprised to know that life isn’t really what it seems for most people. In my opinion, when you feel challenged, down or really low; do remember you can be brave and wither the storm. Chances are it is only a phase.

Think, take a deep breathe and think deeply, there should be a way out.

There should be things that means a lot to you or people worth living for.

Speak to people.

There should be one or two persons who you can trust to understand, reason and do not judge you.

Please, my dear readers be nice to people.

Be kind to people especially with your words.

Many people are suffering on daily basis.
