Glow Effortlessly

With the right products, you can achieve a healthy looking and glowing skin. #Beauficial got you.

Glow effortlessly

It is obvious most women love to glow. The flawless look speaks volume on it own.

I will share with you briefly how I have been able to achieve this. Well, I know so.

Back in the days; in my late teens,  I was artistic with my brows. I would draw all manner of lines

Looking back, I’m so pleased I did them at those times. However, it never lasted long as I out grew that quickly.

For years now, I don’t even give a damn about eyebrows, would only go for threading once in a while, nothing more. For some reasons, I look so different when the brows are done (drawn and all that).

All these years, I have not been the heavy makeup type too.

However, I realise I need to take care of my skin in addition to monitoring what I eat.

I love natural look and it was important to me that I can wear my face most times without makeup. Just a dash of a lipgloss and off I go.

Prior to now, I would think anti-aging and anti wrinkle products are for very old people but I know better now.

I sought for products and got what I needed to ensure a healthy and glowing skin. I got to know about SPF 30 products and all.

Then when I came across BeauFicial products and how authentic they are, I knew I need to add them to my skin care routine. I spent time on the page for more information and the brain behind it.

I hardly switch products but after reading the contents of their various skincare products I knew I will be using them for a long time.

I love those products.

The masks are lovely and your skin feels so different just on first application.

They have bundle packages; it comprises of different products at a cheaper rate.

The organic nature of these products is what I love most.

Authors Event I Attended

Event Flyer
Hi my Lovelies, hope you are doing good. I started the year with an amazing event on the 4th of January. A close-friend-turned-sister (Jessica) invited me to a seminar that was meant exclusively for entrepreneurs, authors and churches. Things turned out well and I was able to make it to the event😄
The event was packed with different personnel’s ranging from, the author of Build Media Team; Pastor David Adabale, web consultant; Ayo Ogunrekun, graphic designer and my PR sister. I made useful notes, hopefully I’m gonna have that ample time this year for my social media activities. There were personal and group tasks which made the occasion more engaging.

Pastor David signs his new book

The PR Jessica doing what she does best

Jessica and Vivien

I’m not going to sit here and moan about how I’ve served you less in the past couple of months. If only I told you what had been stealing me away from you, you will understand me better. However, I’m going to serve you better this year. We need to keep Viviensvoice going. That’s the spirit.
Attending the event was partially to meet Jessica as I haven’t see her in ages( I’m not gonna how long) to support her and importantly show some commitment and boost my development towards my writing. As a blogger and an author, I’m still a work in progress.
Let me tell you about my frien-sis. She’s a beautiful, lovely and multi-talented lady who knows what she wants and works hard to get. Her love for God is on a different level. You can have a look at her site and see things for yourself.  She is very committed to her job. She’s a PR and brand strategist. You can trust her with your works.
I’ve got few slides I want to share with you from the event, you might find one or two of them  helpful and applicable to you.
For my new readers, you are welcome to Viviensvoice. Familiarise yourself with different tabs. I write to inspire.

Black History Month

It is black history month. Luckily, I’ve been able to attend a few events to mark it. I’m black and proud. Looking back from where we started, we have come a long way.

I’ve decided to share with you a popular poem by a rare gem 💎 Maya Angelou(1924- 2014).

Still I rise

You may write me down in history

With your bitter, twisted lies,

You may trod me in the very dirt

But still, like dust, I’ll rise.

Does my sassiness upset you?

Why are you beset with gloom?

‘Cause I walk like I’ve got oil wells

Pumping in my living room.

Just like moons and like suns,

With the certainty of tides,

Just like hopes springing high,

Still I’ll rise.

Did you want to see me broken?

Bowed head and lowered eyes?

Shoulders falling down like teardrops,

Weakened by my soulful cries?

Does my haughtiness offend you?

Don’t you take it awful hard

‘Cause I laugh like I’ve got gold mines

Diggin’ in my own backyard.

You may shoot me with your words,

You may cut me with your eyes,

You may kill me with your hatefulness,

But still, like air, I’ll rise.

Does my sexiness upset you?

Does it come as a surprise

That I dance like I’ve got diamonds

At the meeting of my thighs?

Out of the huts of history’s shame

I rise

Up from a past that’s rooted in pain

I rise

I’m a black ocean, leaping and wide,

Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.

Leaving behind nights of terror and fear

I rise

Into a daybreak that’s wondrously clear

I rise

Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,

I am the dream and the hope of the slave.

I rise

I rise

I rise.

One Love

Happy Easter Friends

Happy Easter to you all. Easter season is one of those times of the year where every Christian rejoice in remembrance of the resurrection of Christ.

Most of us who in one way or the other fulfilled their Lenten duties would be hopeful that God grant their Easter requests. I posted previously about Lenten duties, however some of those acts can be incorporated in our routine Christian lifestyle. We all ought have to be Christlike, isn’t it what Christianity is all about?

I hope you are having a fantastic Easter celebration? Mine is going really well😄 I went to church and having Easter feast with close friends.

I want us to pray specially for people struggling in their marital homes and those having difficulty in conceiving. I humbly pray that the ressurrected Lord grant their heart desires, may he give them the peace that the world can not give and sheild their home 🙏🏼

Papal message for Easter today addresses the need to end Syrian carnage while Archbishop of Canterbury emphasises on the relevance of hope.

Are you ready for an Easter joke?

Jesus was asked why he stayed longer to resurrect. “To find Judas”, he answered.

Do have a beautiful Easter season. May the risen Christ bless and meet all your needs🙏🏼

Reviews

      —————————

This novel, by a talented young author, is an important contribution to inter-cultural literature. Set in Nigeria and the UK, it is written in a style that reflects both cultures. It is the story of a relationship and marriage between young people from Nigeria who come to the UK. Most of the book is set in Nigeria and gives the reader a rich picture of ordinary life for young people and their families. Vivien Ayinotu has much to offer to readers in different parts of the world.
Richard Zipfel
——————————————————————-
The novel rotates around tortuous life experiences of a group of a group of school friends, focused, ambitious and vibrant, from their school days through their working class years and intricate social relationships that culminate in the marriage of the novels hero with his childhood female counterpart. The moral lessen of the novel is that patience fidelity and genuine love are the tonics to happiness in numerous life undertakings. This novel is therefore recommended to arm every youth with those experiences that culminate in success and happiness.

“Happiness at Last” is the first book by young Nigerian writer Vivien Ayinotu.  It is a charming short story about friendship and the first steps that the characters take on leaving the security of home life. Their doubts concerning work, love and marriage are clearly and gently described. One also learns something about Nigerian traditions. An enjoyable read.
