Do Not Overthink Your Situation Than It Already Is

Do not give up yet. God is still God.

I want to dedicate this post to those that are currently experiencing hard times.

To those that situations make them wonder if God truly exist.

To those who have concluded that God is partial.

To those that only experience agony.

To those that have gone from one trying moment to another and is not ending soon.

To those that found themselves in a hopeless situation.

To that flood their pillows at night.

To that that truly want God to prove that He still exist in their lives.

Guess what?

I want you all to know that even when it appears all bleak that God truly does exists.

I can agree with you that the doubt is there.

However, GOD IS STILL GOD and exists.

There is no situation bigger than God.

God is for all.

He is not partial.

Your situation will turn around.

Hang in there.

Seek His face the more.

Chances are He is preparing you for the unforseen future.

Do not over think your situation more than it already is.

I pray God come through for you sooner than imagined.

May this month of June bless you with more than you had imagined 🧡

The Role of Faith in our Daily Lives and Decision Making

Faith can help us make sense of life and all that happens around us.

Faith plays a significant role in the daily lives of many people. It provides a sense of purpose and guidance, and can shape our beliefs, values, and actions.

We’ll be exploring the role of faith in daily life and decision making, and how it can impact our personal and professional lives.

1. It provides a sense of purpose: Faith can give individuals a sense of purpose, meaning, and direction in life. This can be helpful especially during difficult times, as it can provide a sense of hope and comfort.

2. It guides moral decision making: Faith can also shape our moral beliefs and guide our decision making. Many religious teachings provide guidance on issues such as honesty, integrity, and compassion, which can help individuals make ethical decisions in their personal and professional lives.

3. It shapes personal beliefs and values: Faith can also shape an individual’s beliefs and values, which can influence their actions and decisions. For example, someone who holds strong religious beliefs may be more likely to make decisions based on those beliefs, rather than solely on personal gain.

4. It provides a sense of community: Faith can also provide a sense of community and belonging. Many religious groups provide opportunities for individuals to connect with others who share similar beliefs and values.

6. It encourages personal growth and self-improvement: Faith can also encourage personal growth and self-improvement. Many religious teachings encourage individuals to strive for personal excellence and to continuously work on themselves.

5. It helps in handling stress and difficult situations: Faith can also help individuals handle stress and difficult situations, such as personal loss or financial difficulties. It can provide a sense of peace and comfort, and can help to put things in perspective.

Unshakable Faith

7. It helps in making personal and professional decisions: Faith can also guide an individual in making personal and professional decisions. It can help one to consider the long-term consequences of their actions, and to make decisions that align with their values and beliefs.

In conclusion, faith plays a significant role in daily life and decision making for many individuals. It can provide a sense of purpose, guide moral decision making, shape personal beliefs and values, provide a sense of community, help in handling stress and difficult situations, encourage personal growth and self-improvement and guide in making personal and professional decisions.

Faith can be a powerful tool for making sense of the world and navigating the challenges of daily life. Everyone has their own unique way of expressing their faith, and it’s important to respect and understand different perspectives.

Spiritual life Is Important Too

Grateful heart ♥️

It is still January and a lot of things we do can pave way for a better and greater remainder of the year.
If you are the praying type, have you embarked on any form of special prayer to commit the entire year into Gods hands? If the answer is no, its never too late. Maybe, this is the reminder you need.
Just like we set goals for personal or career development, our spiritual lives should not be left behind. This is essential as it has a unique way of helping us stay focused and enables us pick up what is left when life challenges happen.
I believe that certain personal achievements do not happen by chance as we earnestly work hard to accomplish them. Similarly, same zeal should be applied to our spiritual live and growth. Also, consistency in prayer habit is required too. Trust me, our spiritual lives can be likened to the foundation of a house. I know you would not want a shaky or unbalanced foundation.
Sometimes, what we need is to have a prayer partner or prayer group that aids in boosting our prayer life. It is more like someone giving you a helping hand and you can actually be accountable for your progress. For me, it’s a prayer group. I have learnt a lot by mere joining of a special prayer group filled with people who are hungry for God. I appreciate their great work because on my own I wouldn’t have come this close to where I am today. I am still on the journey😊
If you are interested in knowing more about the prayer group, what they do or how to join, do feel free to contact me. More so, I am open to discuss further and provide support, if need be.

Giving Alms

Hi Friends, I want to remind us today about giving alms. I know it’s something we are all aware of.

However, my question to you today is “when was the last time you helped the poor?”

Is it something of the past?

Are you aware they poor people still exist?

Are you aware that you are better off than some people?

Are you aware of those around you who are in need of one want or the other?

Have you been a victim where you feel cheated and think you do not need to cater for the needy anymore?

Remember the we ought to do good always, regardless.

Only our heavenly father who sees in the secret will reward us.

We are all in a battle to be better humans and greater versions of ourselves.

We need Gods grace, else we cannot do much on our own.

Do you remember the bible that says that giving alms covers multitude of sins?

The bible verse above adds that this kind act of generosity should be done in secret. We live in the era of social media when everything appear to be better publicised. However, as humans we should know what is expected of us at all time.

We shouldn’t be quick to please humans, feed our ego and displease God. Thereby, blocking the blessings that awaits us.

All in all, do good and give alms to the poor.

Sending you God’s blessings.

How Do You Measure Your Quality of Life?

I was very opportune to witness a divinely-led preaching last Sunday. Two weeks ago,  I attended a bible conference where I made a few friends and eventually joined their online chat forum.

It happened that someone had put up a a post about 2pm mass by some charismatic Nigerian Priests, I thought to myself, why not? That was how I got there. I can’t begin to tell you how pleased I am to have attended that.

The preaching Centred on:  Does your external observances as a Christian correlate with your inner self?

As Christians, there are articles or symbols that are part of us, they include the crucifix, medals, holy bible, rosary, scapula, holy water, anointing oils, etc. Others include the sign of the cross, genuflecting before the holy Eucharist, bowing before the cross amongst others acts.

Amongst all these, our external observances should be prompted from the interior.

There should be no discrepancy between our physical rituals and our spiritual lives.

Both should be in agreement and serve as a measure to the quality of our lives. The quality of our lives should be the sign that people see.

What use is it that we appear so religious but our hearts harbours evil and our attitudes very rebellious?

What happens when we are angered and flare up? Are we not at those times required to be an examplary Christian?

This is hardly the case.

As Christians, at any stage of our lives, we have symbols, uniforms that we are identified with, be you a youth, catholic men or women, priest or nun. Our uniform is our identity.

The Pharisees and believed in mere physical rituals like not washing hands before eating but God seeks more from our hearts.

Are you being Christlike in your encounter with people?

We live in a word were the society sanctions various actions that are clearly condemned in the bible. When society approves of an act does it get erased in the bible? The answer is no.

The scripture further says that there are acts that defiles a man (women included😄) : fornication, theft, murder, adultery, avarice, malice, deceit, indecency, envy, slander, pride and folly.

The modern world 🌍 approves fornication( the number one God condemns) and indecency.

Is the word indecency any meaningful in this generation?

God urged us to obey his commandments and do not cling to mere human traditions.

Nothing that goes into a man can make him unclean only that which comes from within; e.g, grudges, hatred, jealousy, envy, evil plots and thoughts. All of such aforementioned acts are from within and they defile a man.

This message is drawn from Mark chapter 7 in the holy bible. The bible can be a perfect present 💝 too.

To sum it up, we should be strive to be exemplary Christians. When the society approves but the bible disapproves. It remains a capital “no”. May our lifestyles and physical observances be Christlike and come from within.

P.S:

I’m a work in progress, we are in this Christlike journey together. Do feel free to contact me. I am a catholic as you could see in my various examples but I believe there is a message for everyone who believes in God😄

Stay Motivated

Multitasking is a great skill, if only it can be mastered by all. It can be really daunting. Let’s say it has its up and downs but I’m looking at the positive side😄

In the past few weeks, I’ve made so much applications and here I am waiting for the results. Having said that, there are ones that of more importance to me than the others.

I’m the kind of person that likes to know I’ve given something I like a try, at least. It works better for me than simply not making an attempt or thinking I can’t achieve that.

I’m writing this post to encourage or challenge someone who thinks they truly want someone but somehow are convinced they won’t get it, even if they try.

Simply do it. Do your best. Give it a try and leave the rest to God. I believe in you-never-know. Again, any body can make it in life.

Do not be discouraged by anyone or anything at all. Keep your head straight and take a good deep breathe of confidence. You are born great regardless of the circumstances.

“With God there are no favourites.” Those lines are in the scripture and not my words.

If you like this post, you will find this beneficial too. It encourages one to keep the passion burning till you achieve that very goal.

Remain positive and stay blessed.

Lots of Love

Expect Nothing from Others

In my recent conversation with a few friends, I have realised that most times the problem is not always the issue. Our mindset goes long way to impact our actions and their various outcomes.

Let’s say you expect nothing from someone and they give you some money or gift items, you’d appreciate them but if you already believe they ought to give you certain amount of things and at a given time, I suppose the perception won’t be same.

I know it can be a difficult habit to break but I can tell from my experience that’s it is much better when you expect nothing from anyone and appreciate all that comes your way.

We are all faced with different challenges and have no clue what the other person is going through. Let be supportive of another and show appreciation. Besides, it’s even much better and rewarding to give than to receive, the scripture supports that too.

To sum it up, unbiased mindset is a great tool for longevity and a stress free lifestyle. Live and let live.

Thanks for reading my posts.

Religion Meets Health

Source: JWFActs.com

For a very long time, I’ve heard so much about Jehovah withnesses inability to receive blood transfusion based on their religious belief. Other sources have it that they are best known for it.

Recently, I had a genuine encounter. It happened that I was looking after a man in his late sixties who was severely ill and had underwent a bloody surgery. As a result, so much blood was lost.

On going through his theatre paperwork, he had agreed that there will be no blood transfusion of any sort even if it results to death. Mere reading those lines gave me chills. That kind of faith is powerful.

Families were present and made sure the request of their loved one was acted upon regardless of the circumstances. Interesting, one of the children was of different religion but still supported the rest of the family.

It was then I got to know that as a Jehovah withness, you ought to have a passport that clearly states your inability to receive blood transfusion and present it Doctors.

Source: Elitereaders.com

My patient had lost his passport recently and it was a bit of an issue because the consultant I had worked with demanded to see it. As far as he was concerned, the verbal communication and nursing documentations showing the obvious was not just enough to act upon.

“Where’s the passport” He asked.

The situation became more challenging as his haemoglobin (Hb) level dropped further to the lowest level I have ever come across.

As the situation worsened, tension built up. However, almost the time when the Drs had decided to try iron alternatives, one of the relatives coincidentally asked why other alternatives can not be tried. After a multidisciplinary meeting, it was agreed that iron dextran and other supplements will be used instead.

Next time I checked on him, Hb level had slightly gone up; just a little bit.

This makes me wonder how religion significantly affects our health. The look on the relatives faces each time they ask for HB value will always remain with me. It was a difficult situation and extremely challenging as they fought that battle of faith at that very critical time.

More of my health related posts are available in the health category. Previously, I talked about organ donation, Acute respiratory distress syndrome and other conditions.

Thanks you for reading this post. Have you had a similar experience? I will like to know your views.

Happy Easter Friends

Happy Easter to you all. Easter season is one of those times of the year where every Christian rejoice in remembrance of the resurrection of Christ.

Most of us who in one way or the other fulfilled their Lenten duties would be hopeful that God grant their Easter requests. I posted previously about Lenten duties, however some of those acts can be incorporated in our routine Christian lifestyle. We all ought have to be Christlike, isn’t it what Christianity is all about?

I hope you are having a fantastic Easter celebration? Mine is going really well😄 I went to church and having Easter feast with close friends.

I want us to pray specially for people struggling in their marital homes and those having difficulty in conceiving. I humbly pray that the ressurrected Lord grant their heart desires, may he give them the peace that the world can not give and sheild their home 🙏🏼

Papal message for Easter today addresses the need to end Syrian carnage while Archbishop of Canterbury emphasises on the relevance of hope.

Are you ready for an Easter joke?

Jesus was asked why he stayed longer to resurrect. “To find Judas”, he answered.

Do have a beautiful Easter season. May the risen Christ bless and meet all your needs🙏🏼
